Job Description:
Advise Management on all necessary measures to be taken in the interest of the safety and health of the employees and in line with the requirements of the law.
Assist Management to inspect workplace and identify sources of potential hazards.
Assist Management to investigate accidents, near-miss incidents, dangerous occurrences and other occupational hazards.
Assist Management/OSH Committee in implementing the safety and health program.
Be the secretary to the OSH Committee as required by the law.
Assist the OSH Committee in any inspection of the workplace to check the effectiveness of compliance with the OSH regulation.
Collect, analyze and maintain statistics on any accident or dangerous occurrence at the workplace.
Assist in monitoring annual training program related to OSH.
Be the main support person and able to assist Factory Manager in any emergency situation.
Be responsible for preparing and timely submission of all OSH reports to PSQM.
Assist management in the preparation of the yearly OSH Budget and Management Plan.
Assist in the preparation of the standard procedures and hazard management systems (HIRAC).
Ensure that all OSH documentation is properly maintained.
Job Requirements:
Possess a Degree in any Engineering/Environment/Safety discipline background.
Attend formal training on Quality Management System, Food Safety (FSSC 22000), RSPO SCCS, ISCC, ISO 14001, OHSAS18001, OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, EQA 1974 and other related systems and/or regulations.
Attend Lean 6 Sigma training.
Knowledge in plant and machinery operation and upkeep.
Experience in Occupational Safety Health Regulation and Acts.
Competent/Certified Safety Health Officer (SHO) registered with DOSH Malaysia (Green Book) is an added advantage.
Demonstrated good communication skills, planning skills, interpersonal skills, teamwork and negotiation skills.
