About the roleThis is an exciting opportunity to join the team at the prestigious Iconic Marjorie Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio property, as an Executive Housekeeper.
In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
What you'll be doing
Manage and lead a team of housekeeping staff to achieve exceptional levels of cleanliness and presentation across all guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces.
Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures and best practices to optimise efficiency and productivity.
Ensure all cleaning and laundry operations are carried out to the highest standards.
Monitor inventory and order housekeeping supplies and equipment as needed.
Oversee staff scheduling and training to maintain a skilled and motivated housekeeping team.
Liaise with other hotel departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.
Continuously look for ways to improve processes and implement innovative solutions.
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior housekeeping role within a hotel or similar hospitality setting.
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Solid understanding of budgeting, inventory management and cost control procedures.
Hands-on experience with housekeeping operations, including laundry, cleaning and guest room maintenance.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with guests and other hotel departments.
Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
