Support the superior in the overall marketing and communication programs which may include strategy development, program implementation and evaluation, as well as budgetary control to build a strong and unified shopping mall brand that stands out from the competition.
Always keep track of the new developments or rulings in the industry and apply latest concepts and ideas in order to strengthen the current practices and enhance the department performance.
Provide conceptualization and design support for all mall wide events / promo / activities A&P collateral.
Support the superior in uploading the approved contents, photos and relevant information to the mall's Website, Facebook and Social Media Applications. Ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; recommend improvements if necessary.
Assist the superior in visual presentation and set-up as per approved concept, design or theme.
Assist in dismantling and removing of the visual displays, stage at the end of allotted time or events.
Provide photography and video for all mall wide events / promo / activities.
Plan, execute and coordinate a variety of marketing, promotion and thematic events to enhance the shopper traffic in the specific month(s) as assigned by the superior.
Perform any other duties, which may be assigned by the superior from time to time.
Events Management
Plan, execute and co-ordinate a variety of marketing, promotion and thematic events which include creative concept and design ideas to enhance the shoppers' traffic to the mall.
Work closely with the superiors on the budget allocation. Seek sponsorships and participations from tenants if so required.
Perform post mortem after the events and make recommendations for any improvement plans.
Requirements:
Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Advertising / Media, Art Design, Creative Multimedia, Mass Communications or equivalent.
Previous exposures in shopping complex, retail environment or hospitality industry would be an added advantage.
Possess good knowledge and experience in marketing and event management.
Knowledge of advertising, public relations, media, corporate branding or graphic design would be an added advantage.
Good command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
