We are looking for an analytical and driven individual to execute non-trade procurement operations.
This role will challenge you to be detailed oriented while p roactively providing feedback and inputs on area of improvement relating of the procurement system. Responsibilities: Non-Trade Procurement Verify and convert Purchase Request (PR) created by Requestor in SAP to Purchase Order (PO) within 1 working day; manage, review, update and maintain PO until they are closed Review, verify and convert Blanket Purchase Order (BPO) Request sent by Requestor into Blanket Purchase Order (BPO) form in SAP Ensure Approvers approve POs in SAP and Requestors perform receiving in SAP promptly Liaise with existing vendors and source for new vendors to secure best prices (without compromising on quality and delivery time) for non-trade related items Understand Requestor's product and service needs and source and negotiate Ensure all purchasing activities are in accordance with company's policy, procedures and compliance with internal control standards Continuously educate Requestor on Procurement & FBU process flow and policies Identify cost-saving opportunities for the Company Proactively provide inputs on areas of improvement relating to Procurement Product updates in the system Familiarize self with the update process flow Perform updates promptly – ensuring 100% SLA met Proactively provide feedback and inputs on area of improvement relating to the update flow/system Resolve problems whenever there are issues with the updates Requirements: At least 1-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position Good understanding of procurement processes and practices Fluent in English (verbal and written communication) is a must Detail oriented, good negotiation skills, high sense of urgency (follow-up skills), rapport-building skills Good problem-solving skills Experience in cost-saving activities exercises for the Company will be an added advantage Experienced in SAP will be an added advantage The ZALORA Story ZALORA is Asia's leading online fashion, beauty and lifestyle destination, part of Global Fashion Group.
