Executive- Quality Control (Automotive)

Job Description: 1. To initiate, drive and monitor for Corrective and Preventive cross-functional follow-up actions on major issues pertaining to product/parts/material quality, customer complaints, through cross-functional initiatives to ensure that the defined quality levels are achieved.                                                                                                
2. To drive the problem solving process with regular follow up of the problem solving status. Control the problem solving process according agreed milestones through CAR/8D/PSS. Regular reporting of the status of the corrective action in the production meeting and to specialist product quality.                                                    
3. To act on specified landscape in terms of problem identification, verification and classification through discussion, interrogation of the international Problem Quality Management (PQM) records, pre analysis and to report the results.                                                                                                                                                          
4. Regular monitoring of the field feedbacks and classifying the issues relevant to the plant, initiating analysis and appropriate actions to the product quality specialist.                                                                                            
5. Work closely with production team to ensure continuous improvements in process stability in order to reduce waste which is due to rework or warranty claim.                                                                                  
6. Analysis and escalation of the critical part issues along with Non Conformity Parts coordinator for action escalation.                                                                                            
7. Establish close linkages between the external and internal indicators to ensure efficient and effective quality system in place.                                                                                              
8. Perform liaison activities with external service providers, contractors, franchise holder on matters related to product quality issues, operations development and implementation.        
9. Attend inter and intra department meetings and teleconferences, meeting discussions related to quality issues and warranty.                                                                                                            
10. Develop people with the required skill & knowledge to maximize performance. Implement company's policies and procedures.                                                                                            
11. To encourage the team for cost saving activities through Kaizen, 5S and ICC activities. 
Job Requirement: Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering related areas essential.At least 2 years experience in automotive industry/ manufacturing. Good communication and interpersonal skills.Meticulous, hardworking and committed to meeting tight deadlines.


Nominal Salary: To be agreed
