Role Summary "Executive – Regulatory Inventory Management" is a key role for Sun Life, as they will manage and support ongoing updates to the Centralized Inventory of Regulations for all Business Units and Corporate Functions and support the development and maintenance of GRC tool etc.

Core Responsibility SLFs' Risk Management framework sets out the over-arching framework for the management of risk across the enterprise. "Executive - Regulatory Inventory Management' is a key role for Sun Life, as they will manage and support ongoing updates to the Centralized Inventory of Regulations for all Business Units and Corporate Functions and support the development and maintenance of GRC tool via testing of system changes, managing user access to the system etc.
This role will have accountability to complete the following -
Centralize & Manage Regulatory Inventory Update Facilitate the regulatory inventory update in system of record basis inputs received from Business Units (BUs) and Corporate Functions (CFs) Create the Top Sheets and content sheets and perform quality assurances of the Top sheets/ Content Sheets created by the team. Perform Regulatory inventory mapping my updating GRC Tool (Archer) and mapping the regulations with appropriate Risk taxonomies, Impacted Business Units (Functional Groups) Review of Regulatory Compliance Risk Assessment documented in the GRC tool (Archer) to ensure the Business Environment and Control Environment are appropriately assured and attested. Manage User Access to System/Application Review annual user access review reports and assess if any changes are required (e.g., removals etc.) Perform Data Imports into System/Application Collaborate with Business Unit SMEs to complete data import template for applications in scope Review data imported into system/application to confirm completeness/accuracy and liaison with relevant team to address data import issues (if any) Conduct testing in development and production environments for system deployments Execute testing in the user access testing (UAT), STAGE, Production environment, document identified defects, and notify the relevant team as per defined process Competence Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills Self-motivated and independent. Excellent relationship building skills as part of a team and with persons at all levels of the organization. Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills. Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to make sound judgments. Experience in managing change in a cross-functional environment and operate effectively under pressure. Ability to resolve issues creatively, effect change, and execute in an accelerated manner. Excellent planning and organization skills and the ability to deal with complex issues. Experience working in a client-facing, matrix, project-based assignments. Maintain knowledge currency (trends and business/operating models) and an understanding of the digital business paradigm at a business level Eligibility and Functional Skillset A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Compliance/Operational Risk/Risk management/ Internal Audit or related functions within the financial services/insurance sector A qualified post-graduate/ CA/ MBA/ FRM/ CFA/ CIA degree or relevant certificate in risk and compliance management (CRCMP, CFE, IRM Enterprise Risk Certificate. CAMs, etc.) would be a plus. Firm working knowledge of insurance processes and its lifecycle Regulatory Change management experience Knowledge of OSFI's E-13 Guideline – Regulatory Compliance Management Knowledge of Wealth and Insurance business and regulatory requirements Knowledge of RCM framework components and linkages Experience working with a GRC Tool, preferably Archer Advanced Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) People Management Skills Proven relationship management skills including a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with staff of all levels including senior functional Leaders Perform the task to consistently deliver on time and operate in a deadline-focused environment Experience in managing change in a cross-functional environment and operate effectively under pressure Strong written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation skills Experience working in a client-facing, matrix, project-based assignments Shift Timings : 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm
