Job Summary: The Supply Chain Executive will be involved in the end-to-end supply chain processes at Austin Powder Malaysia. The scope of jobs is ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products, optimizing inventory levels, and coordinating with various departments to meet company objectives.
The Supply Chain Executive will play a crucial role in improving supply chain operations, supply security, cost-effectiveness, and enhancing overall efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Management:Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency, supply security, cost, and overall efficiency.Manage and optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand effectively.Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.Procurement:Involved in procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing raw materials, engineering, and consumables.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing.Logistics and Distribution:Oversee logistics operations, including shipping and clearance, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.Ensure timely and accurate delivery of from suppliers and manage logistics-related issues.Documentation & Compliance:Ensure documentation requirements are in order for import/ logistic/ storage compliance.Manage ISO 9001 documentationCollaboration and Communication:Collaborate with internal departments such as Sales, Operations, Production, Technical, and finance to align supply chain activities with business objectives.Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates and resolving issues as they arise.Compliance and Documentations:Ensure documentation requirements are in order for import/ logistic/ storage compliance.Manage ISO 9001 documentationReporting and Analysis:Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance, including key metrics and KPIs.Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.Safety, Health & Environment (SHE):Comply with the company's Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) policies and requirements at all times.Promote and cultivate a safe working environment by encouraging good safety practices among all employees.OthersUndertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Management to ensure the effective realization of job objectives. Job Responsibilities: Degree/ Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Warehouse, Engineering, or related field.Posses 3-5 years of supply chain or relevant work experienceExperience in ISO 9001 documentationExperience in international shipping regulations will be an added advantageDemand Planning backgroundProficiency in using SAP B1 software and tools.Experience in sourcing/ purchasing Engineering/ consumable itemsComputer literate with good skills in Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of dangerous goods regulations and chartering will be an added advantage.Experience with demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management.Multitasking and willingness to take up the additional task assigned.Possess a good working attitude, independent, and able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Flexible and adaptive to working environment/ task assigned.Ability – Learning ability, propensity to lead, receptive to feedback, and adaptabilityAspiration – Desire to grow and work beyond the scope of his/her job responsibilityEngagement – Personally connected to the success of the organization and his/her team, motivates his/her team and help othersIntegrity – Takes responsibility for decisions and outcomes, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations.Humble - Treats others with respect
