The executive will be responsible for overseeing the project management, purchasing and sourcing activities. Successful applicant will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services, while maintaining high standards of quality and vendor relationships.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, property management or a related field.Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the property management or real estate industry.Knowledge of Procurement Processes:Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and strategies.Familiarity with sourcing methods, negotiation techniques, and supplier evaluation.Vendor Management:Proven ability to identify and evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.Experience in conducting vendor assessments, performance evaluations, and maintaining a vendor database.Strategic Sourcing:Ability to develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize procurement efficiency and cost savings.Knowledge of market trends, industry best practices, and the ability to identify potential sourcing opportunities.Inventory Management:Proficiency in inventory management techniques, including forecasting, demand planning, and stock control.Experience in maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing stockouts, and reducing carrying costs.Strong Analytical Skills:Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.Ability to analyze procurement data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve procurement processes.Communication and Negotiation:Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay.Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.Compliance and Ethics:Sound knowledge of procurement regulations and ethical practices.Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.Technology Proficiency:Proficient in using procurement software and tools for sourcing, contract management, and spend analysis.Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for procurement-related activities.Attention to Detail:Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
