Position: F&B Manager (Cum Administrative)
Job Overview:
The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple restaurants or food service establishments, ensuring the provision of high-quality food and beverage services, coordinating staff duties, managing budgets and costs, meeting customer needs, and enhancing business profitability. This role also requires proficiency in handling supplier relationships, managing office invoices, and utilizing Excel and Google Sheets formulas for efficient record-keeping and data management.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
• Manage daily operations of the restaurant, including the front of house and kitchen areas, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Oversee the food and beverage inventory to ensure sufficient supply while controlling quality and costs.
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff, providing leadership and development to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards, maintaining a clean and sanitary dining environment.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly, delivering excellent customer service and enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Develop and manage budgets, monitor sales, control costs, and oversee financial operations to ensure profitability.
• Plan and execute marketing activities to increase the restaurant's visibility and attract more customers.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the procurement of high-quality ingredients and beverages at competitive prices.
• Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive sales and improve overall profitability.
• Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to staff, ensuring efficient operations and enhanced productivity.
• Handle office-related tasks such as invoice management, record-keeping, and administrative duties, using Excel and Google Sheets for financial tracking and reporting.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• At least 2+ years of extensive work experience in the food and beverage industry, including managerial roles.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to manage operations across multiple locations.
• In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, with a keen understanding of market trends.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, able to effectively manage staff, suppliers, and customers.
• Must be proficient in both Chinese and English communication.
• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring strict compliance.
• Expertise in budgeting, cost control, and financial management.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets formulas, with experience in invoice management and record-keeping.
• Experience in marketing and promotions, with the ability to help drive sales and profitability.
