FACILITIES ASSISTANT - BUILDING MAINTENANCE• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
• Check on main incoming water supply and water pumps.
• Perform maintenance repairs and services
• Conduct daily technical inspection rounds and checks on the proper functioning of installations
• Maintain plumbing systems to ensure functionality
• Highlight any other matters that need future upgrading work
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
• Plan and schedule repairs daily
• Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including painting and carpentry.
• Maintain inventory records for equipment and supplies.
• Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.
• Perform general landscaping maintenance, repairs, and routine building inspections to identify problems.
• Monitor pest control
• Replace broken fixtures and hardware
• Assist with painting, repairing, and plastering walls as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace
• Order supplies and materials needed for repair and maintenance
• Check and maintain all air conditioning units and top up gas if needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
