The Technician is responsible for driving maintenance programs (including routine inspection, corrective and preventive activities) with a focus on system reliability, with the application of Best Practices and a wide range of engineering principles and practices to:
Implement mandatory routine inspections in conformance to Standard Operating Procedures and reliability governance.
Support emergency (unscheduled) repairs or troubleshooting of facilities equipment, and close monitoring on facilities system performance, critical parameters, and loading.
Lead emergency (unscheduled) repairs or troubleshooting of facilities equipment, and close monitoring on facilities system performance, critical parameters, and loading.
Facilitate and administer reliability improvement projects including isolation and Testing and Commissioning, and other experimental simulations.
Interface directly with clients to identify and analyze critical needs, define problems, and develop specifications to guide the solution process.
Risk ManagementImplement risk assessment which identifies operational risks including occupational health and safety, fire safety, essential services, and environmental.
Profitability and Savings InitiativesDrive initiatives and strategies that lead to cost savings and service improvement.
Energy Conservation and InnovationSupport initiatives and strategies for energy conservation with feasibility assessment, cost optimization, and engineering analyses.
Customer Service and Client RelationshipsEnsure feedback from clients is recorded and action taken to the satisfaction of the end user. Lead by example in achieving maximum client satisfaction level.
ReportingEnsure data integrity and accuracy of all information reported associated with Daily Shift Ops Report, Weekly MRM Report, Monthly Report, Risk Assessment, BAR, Maximo PM Closure, and other imperative updates.
RequirementsCandidate must possess a minimum chargeman A0/A1 with discipline, with considerable hands-on working experience in facilities engineering.
Able to work independently, possess integrity, and a right sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
Interpersonal skills with a strong client focus.
Good written and oral communication skills, including the ability to work irregular hours and occasional travel if any urgent support is needed.
