Facilities Manager

Details of the offer

Provide information and recommendations for all Building Projects worldwide.
Follow up with all facilities to confirm compliance with all Safety, Environmental, and Construction Guidelines.
Serve as a resource for management with all space-related projects regarding cost and feasibility.
Develop and monitor Facility Budgets for all worldwide locations.
Lead all areas of the company in efforts to maintain clean facilities.
Seek out ways to lower costs associated with construction, remodeling, safety, and security.
Monitor all utility costs, and temperature/humidity levels, at all facilities.
Maintain a file of SAMTEC locations to monitor space utilization.
Coordinate with Legal and Accounting functions to support their roles in Facility Projects.
Be responsible for compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations.
Conduct bi-annual reviews on all injury claims with HR Benefits Manager.
Maintain files of all SAMTEC vehicles and be responsible for their acquisition/disposition.
Be responsible for property liability insurance compliance activities.
Seek out ways to lower greenhouse gas emissions corporate-wide.
Required Experience:10+ years' experience as a Facilities Manager in a Global Manufacturing environment.
Experience in all of the following:
Facility Projects
Facility Management Activities
Crisis Response
Lifting Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist.
Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.
Hazards and Atmospheric Conditions:Must be willing to adhere to department safety rules and regulations.
May be exposed to noise (required to wear protective gear).
May be exposed to Hazardous Materials & Chemicals (required to wear safety glasses and other protective gear).
Education:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Facilities Management, etc.
Degree can be substituted for direct experience.
