To support warehouse solutioning and planning for new projects, including storage designs for optimization, warehouse product flow, space planning, and updating drawings.
Compilation of all documents related to Facility & Project development department including equipment, building and equipment licenses, BCP, and risk assessment procedure updates.
Preparing and reviewing project cost comparisons, project timelines, and scheduling for facility projects.
Manage asset enhancements including leading initiatives to optimize property asset yield through budget and financial planning, cost control, building upgrading programs, and implementation of intelligent building technologies.
Maintain records of purchases and capture costs incurred in the facility & Project department to update management regularly.
Perform other job-related duties as required by superiors.
Manage and supervise contractors' work, liaising with consultants and authorities.
Oversee project development stages from conceptualization to completion for C&S and M&E systems.
Budget, plan, implement, execute, and control operation and capital expenditures.
Implement rooftop solar systems.
Plan and execute green building initiatives.
Plan data line & IT infrastructure.
Implement security systems as part of landlord responsibilities.
For Project DevelopmentReview and recommend relevant consultants for projects, including negotiating professional fees and preparing appointment letters.
Manage, coordinate, and act as the main liaison with consultants and all stakeholders regarding project development and construction.
Collaborate with the Management Control Team, Architects, and consultants for the preparation and submission of documents, proposals, and drawings to government authorities.
Manage multiple project phases and work with the Management Control Team, Architects, interior designers, consultants, and contractors for procurement and supply of materials, mobilization, and construction methodologies.
Ensure projects adhere to best practices, approved budgets, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Administer and execute projects to the satisfaction of the owning company, Management Control Team, and Board of Directors, in accordance with contractual agreements and safety standards.
Develop detailed implementation programs and critical paths for decision-making from project inception to handover.
Ensure construction progress adheres to timelines and obtain all relevant approvals, including Occupation Permits.
Conduct regular meetings with the Management Control Team, consultants, and contractors for project updates and evaluations.
Prepare regular executive planning and construction progress reports to the Management Control Team.
Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Minimum Degree in Mechanical & Electrical or C&S Engineering / Building Services / Estate Management or related discipline.
At least 8 years of relevant experience in facility & project development management.
Knowledge of ISO management systems and EHS systems.
Familiarity with fire protection and authorities' submissions related to logistics operations.
Proficient in AutoCAD or drafting software (2D or 3D) & Revit.
Competent writing and communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project.
Ability to read building and M&E plans.
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful conditions.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Able to commit to extended hours when needed.
