Facilities Technician I

This position has the primary function of ensuring that equipment downtime is kept to a minimum.
Job ResponsibilitiesPerforms scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on facilities equipment, i.e.
air compressor, process water system, fire suppression system, HVAC, electrical, etc.
Will work from rough sketches and drawings.
Performs installation and reconfiguration on cubicles and office fixtures.
Communicates any concerns about work process regarding environmental impact, health or safety issues to their Manager.
Responsible for identifying, sourcing and replenishment of all equipment spares.
Take responsibility for preventative maintenance procedures with an assigned process or area.
Responsible to monitor the BMS system, record any abnormalities and highlight to supervisor.
Job Requirements:Candidate must possess at least a technical diploma/degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience in facilities maintenance inclusive of Mechanical, Electrical and/or Life Support System (Fire, Gas Alarms).
Required skill(s): Performs plant and/or office facilities maintenance duties, simple electrical projects, light construction.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
