Day to day roles and duties:
Developing and implementing facility management policies and procedures.
Planning and coordinating all installation and refurbishment operations.
Managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
Inspecting buildings' structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
Managing the facilities staff, contractors, and external suppliers.
Overseeing facility refurbishments, renovations, and building projects.
Handling the allocation and management of space within buildings.
Ensuring building compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, business management, or a related field.
10 years or more proven experience in facilities management or operational administration.
Hands-on experience in maintenance, repairs, and building work is advantageous.
Strong understanding of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
Working knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations and compliance.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
