Facility Technician

Job Summary:
Individual will assist in all aspects of facility maintenance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Air compressor maintenance and repair
Firefighting system maintenance and repair
Main switch board maintenance and maintain preventative maintenance schedule
HVAC checks and schedule repairs and maintenance
Order supplies for all facility maintenance items
Plumbing repair
Repair floors, replace lights, and ceiling tiles
Perform general repairs and painting when needed
Maintain parts inventory
Schedule outside contractors when needed for repairs and modifications
Required to meet deadlines.

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
Able to understand electrical ladder diagram and wiring diagram
Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions
Able to repair and troubleshoot equipment
Able to work independently
Be well organized and pay close attention to detail
Have experience working with computers
Be available for overtime work when needed
Language: Must speak and write English well
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years of facilities maintenance or general repair experience
Prefer to have wireman certificate (PW1 – PW4)
Education:
Minimum Required Education: High School/Technical High School Diploma
This is a 6-day working role (Monday to Saturday), working hours – 8AM to 4.30PM Malaysia time. Overtime (OT) may be required.
Rotation shifts will apply (every 2 weeks, day and night). More information will be shared during the interview process.
Physical requirements/Work Environment:
Willing and able to work around toxic materials and gases
Willing and able to wear Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCUBA) and respirators
Able to lift at least 20kg
Able to climb ladders
