Job DescriptionEquipment Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on various power tools and manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and breakdowns promptly, utilizing technical expertise in power tools and machinery.
Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines, including lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, to create a safe working environment.
Facility Repairs: Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks on building systems, such as electrical systems, UPS, Door Access, CCTV, etc., to ensure a comfortable and safe working environment for employees.
Inventory Management: Manage and maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and supplies for power tools and facility maintenance, optimizing cost-effectiveness.
Vendor Relations: Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to schedule and oversee maintenance and repair projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective services.
Emergency Response: Act swiftly during emergency situations, such as power outages or equipment failures, to minimize disruptions and maintain production efficiency.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment specifications, and service history to support decision-making processes and regulatory compliance.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in facility management and maintenance, actively participating in improvement initiatives.
Assist engineers and participate as teams for utility bill management, energy consumption tracking, work permit, contractor orientation, etc.
QualificationsCertificate competency as chargeman AO and Diploma in Electrical.
Good knowledge in Electrical troubleshooting & system, CDA and Air Condition system.
Formal Education from Local Technical Institution.
Good Knowledge and Exposure of Facility process, procedures and technology.
Computer literate, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, will be an added advantage.
Self-driven, independent, strong interpersonal communication, self-motivated person, result-oriented & team player.
Additional InformationAbility to manage personnel time to ensure the success of completion of assignments.
Ability to perform multitasking according to priority & keep to a tight schedule.
Ability to work with minimum supervision & self-motivation.
Possess good analytical & communication skills.
Possess good skill in technical report writing.
