About the roleThis is a full-time Factory Manager (Yacht Manufacturing) position at Gussmann Technologies Sdn Bhd, based in Teluk Intan Perak.
As the Factory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the yacht manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and workplace safety.
What you'll be doing
Manage and coordinate the overall manufacturing process, from planning and scheduling to resource allocation and inventory control
Establish and maintain quality control standards to ensure high-quality yacht production
Oversee the workforce, including hiring, training, and managing production teams
Implement and monitor safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and inefficiencies to improve overall productivity
Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes
Analyse production data and provide detailed reports to senior management
Foster a positive, team-oriented work culture and promote continuous improvement
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Factory Manager or equivalent role in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the yacht or marine equipment sector
Proven track record in leading and motivating production teams to achieve operational excellence
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean production principles
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking abilities
Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
