JR64896 Factory Operations Manager
Responsibilities
Primary SIG interface that works with product team and central/engineering planning team to understand various equipment/board demand and strategize loading to meet Micron's business requirement and handles all communications related to CMs' delivery commits.
Handles all contract manufacturing (CM) operations during New Product Introduction (NPI) and high phase Manufacturing (HVM) to meet equipment/board delivery schedule.
Works with field service team to support sites' post sale requirement (i.e., repair, upgrades, rework, spares)
Handle risks that impact CM production/delivery schedules and drive resolutions with team to meet the aligned need dates. Monitor and disposition finished goods (FG) inventories and provide inputs to excess and obsolete (E&O) disposition process.
Drive purchase price variance (PPV) discussion and decision with supply chain team. Drive capacity modeling to ensure tool capacity can meet output requirements.
Identify, communicate, and mitigate capacity constraints.
Optimize existing capacity and find opportunities to minimize capital expenditure related to CM
Identify and initiate systemic corrective actions to recurring root-causes that causes missed schedules. Make data-driven recommendations to partners/collaborators/leadership for strategic, operational, and funding decisions. Support various cross organization initiatives to continuously innovate and improve business processes.
Requirements:
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, experience in engineering EE (Preference)
Experience in either contract manufacturer management, outsource management, product management or product engineering is helpful.
