ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation and Cooking:
Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, and dicing.
Cook dishes under the supervision of senior chefs, following recipes and presentation standards.
Assist in the preparation of sauces, soups, salads, and main dishes.
Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization:
Ensure the workstation and kitchen area are clean and organized at all times.
Adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards, including cleaning utensils and equipment after use.
Inventory and Stock Management:
Monitor and report inventory levels to the chef to prevent shortages.
Properly store and label food items, checking expiration dates and quality.
Learning and Development:
Follow instructions from senior chefs, learning cooking techniques, and improving culinary skills.
Stay updated on menu changes and any special dishes.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Assist in catering to any additional kitchen tasks or requests as needed.
Quality Control:
Ensure dishes are of high quality, checking for taste, temperature, and presentation before serving.
