Job Description for Quality Control Technician at SEA Clutch Position Overview: SEA Clutch, a leader in automotive clutch manufacturing, is looking for a meticulous Quality Control Technician to ensure our products consistently meet and surpass industry standards. This role is critical in maintaining our commitment to quality and excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed and precise inspections of both raw materials and final products to ensure they meet predefined quality parameters. Utilize various measuring tools and equipment to assess product dimensions and functionality. Assist in the implementation and enforcement of quality control procedures and standards. Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issues, aiming for minimal disruption to operations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry quality control practices and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Support the Quality Control Supervisor in managing the quality control processes and participating in team meetings to discuss ways to improve product quality. Requirements: High school diploma; additional certification or training in quality control is a plus. Experience in a quality control position within a manufacturing setting; automotive industry experience is advantageous. A solid understanding of quality control standards and a keen eye for detail. Familiarity with the use of inspection tools and equipment. Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain meticulous records. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
