Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Highly motivated technician willing to contribute at the highest level.
Demonstrates the desire to learn various technical areas, has out-of-the-box thinking, and can bring creative ideas and solutions to technical challenges.
Performing multiple failure analysis techniques to characterize media and other HDD components, as we support both development and manufacture of HDD media.
Responsible for investigating and analyzing product failures using Optical Microscope, Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), OSA, and ZYGO to determine failure defects and support the development of solutions that enhance product reliability.
Hands-on skills and technical expertise will play a critical role in our quality assurance processes.
QualificationsREQUIRED:
Diploma in Engineering or related field from a recognized institution.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Fundamentals of Engineering: Understanding of core engineering principles and concepts relevant to the specific engineering discipline.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and implement them effectively.
PRACTICAL SKILLS:
Hands-On Experience: Experience with laboratory work (Optical Microscope, Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), OSA, Zygo, project-based learning, or internships that provide practical application of engineering concepts.
Project Management: Basic skills in managing projects, including planning, execution, and reporting.
SOFT SKILLS:
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas and collaborate.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, contributing to group projects and discussions.
Adaptability: Flexibility to learn new concepts and technologies and adapt to changing work environments.
