Job Objective
The Farm Maintenance supervisor is responsible for effectively supervising, directing and controlling Maintenance and Engineering resources, ensuring a proactive, cost-efficient and effective comprehensive maintenance program (Mechanical, Electrical, Building, Grounds, Instrumentation and process control), is established, implemented and consistently improved.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Manages and implements an effective maintenance program of farm equipment ensuring maximum uptime.
Conduct analysis on recurring equipment failures and execute appropriate corrective action.
Coordinates with department heads in the implementation and scheduling of farm maintenance works to increase the equipment operational availability & service life, keeping equipment capacity without sacrificing reliability and safety, ensuring reduced breakdown/downtime of equipment and machineries.
Analyzes and resolves work problems and corrects equipment and machinery operational deviations; endorses to the department head problems that cannot be readily resolved.
Ensures cost efficient implementation of the repair and maintenance for farm equipment and machineries.
To assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of service level standards for the delivery of maintenance services to relevant client departments.
Preventive Maintenance System
Plans, designs, implements effective preventive maintenance system and program to ensure farm equipment reliability.
Establishes and maintains up-to-date records on inventory control of machinery, equipment, tools, historical data, evaluates maintenance cost and implements cost reduction programs of the department.
Power Supply Management
Coordinates with local power utilities in the management of the power supply and quality.
Analyzes the load profiles of the plant processes and implements an Energy Conservation Program to optimize power resources.
Spare Parts and Supply Management
Coordinates with Warehouse Manager to ensure availability of materials, spare parts and supplies for operating equipment, maintenance, repair and reconditioning and project requirements whenever needed.
Strategic and Financial Planning
Prepares and implements departmental strategic and operational plans.
Prepares and keeps the annual departmental budget.
Minimum Qualifications
Licensed Electrical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer
Experience:
3-5 years in farm maintenance operations or 5-10 years of experience in maintenance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
