As a Fashion Designer specializing in Apparel, Garment, and Fabric, you will be responsible for creating innovative and aesthetically pleasing clothing designs while staying abreast of industry trends and consumer preferences.
Your role will involve designing garments, selecting fabrics, and overseeing the production process to ensure the final product aligns with the brand's vision and quality standards.
Job Scope:Design Development:
Prepare detailed design documentation for production, including specifications and technical drawings.
Garment Construction:
Develop detailed technical specifications and patterns for garment construction.
Work closely with sourcing to ensure accurate prototypes.
Conduct fittings and make necessary adjustments to achieve the desired fit and silhouette.
Quality Control:
Monitor the production process to ensure the quality and consistency of garments.
Address any issues related to production, fit, or fabric quality promptly.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandisers, buyers, and sourcing line.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive and streamlined design process.
Market Research:
Stay informed about competitors and market trends to ensure the brand remains competitive.
Quickly adapt to changes in design direction, production requirements, or market demands.
Qualifications:Minimum 2-3 years of experience in related field is required for this position.
This position is for Junior/Executive level.
Proven experience as a Fashion Designer with a focus on apparel, garment, and fabric.
Strong knowledge of textiles, garment construction, and manufacturing processes and industry trends in sport global brand.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Creativity, attention to detail, and a keen eye for fashion trends.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Good communication/presentation skills in both written and verbal English and Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
