Fiber Optic Splicer / Tester

We are seeking a detail oriented fiber optic splicer / tester who can work independently and/or with a team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and quality of our clients' fiber optic networks in Sabah.
Key Responsibilities: Perform fusion and mechanical splicing of fiber optic cables in various environments.Interpret fiber optic schematics and diagrams to determine splice locations.Conduct testing and troubleshooting of fiber optic networks using OTDR, power meters, and other testing equipment.Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations.Troubleshooting: Quick to capture and understand OFC infrastructures to determine potential faults in breakdowns in order to repair.Qualifications: Diploma in relevant field or Certificate in Splicing / Testing (E.g. CA 2C).Experience in fiber optic splicing and testing (2+ years preferred).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
