Your primary goal will be to help clientsimplement data solutions that drive business improvement. You will play a crucial role inunderstanding client requirements, proposing suitable solutions, and delivering themsuccessfully. Your expertise in data platforms, data warehousing, data lakes, APIs, ETL, datavisualization, knowledge graphs, and bespoke applications will be instrumental in driving clientsuccess.
Your Responsibilities Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and participate inpre-sales activities. Utilize your expertise to propose data solutions tailored to meetclient needs and objectives. Take ownership of the proposed data solutions and drive their successfulimplementation. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers,developers, and project managers, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Establish strong relationships with clients and serve as their trusted advisor.Understand their pain points and objectives, and provide strategic guidance on howdata solutions can address their business challenges. Lead and manage data engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines,budgets, and quality standards. Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensuresmooth project execution. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data engineering technologies, tools,and best practices. Leverage your technical knowledge to drive innovation andcontinuously improve our data solutions. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or arelated field. Ability to work independently and self directed. Passionate about solving technical problems independently as well collaboratively withthe team Proven experience in data engineering, including designing and implementing dataplatforms, data warehouses, data lakes, APIs, ETL processes, data visualization,knowledge graphs, and bespoke applications. Strong understanding of data management, data integration, and data governanceprinciples. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, SQL orCypher. Experience with source control software (git, svn, etc) and source control practices. Comfortable with learning new technologies and development languages as needed Hands on experience with deployment on major platforms (eg: Kubernetes, Docker,Linux, Cloud, etc) Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements intotechnical solutions. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectivelyinteract with clients and stakeholders. Project management experience is a plus. Nice To Have Experience in data technologies such as Spark, Kubernetes, Jupyter, Neo4j, KNIME,Cloudera, HPE Ezmeral, PostgreSQL, Citus, Presto, Trino, Hive, Airflow, Superset,Pynecone, NodeJS, MinIO, Rancher, Gitlab CE, FalconLLM, or OpenAI.
