Field Technician (12 Months Contract)

Job DescriptionTo carry out fluid sampling and analysis duties at onshore and offshore locations within Malaysia and overseas as required.Responsible for interfacing with the client and producing detailed high-quality reports.
He will also be responsible for pre and post-job equipment preparation, servicing, and calibration as required.Occasionally may be required to assist in the laboratory duties.Provide service on onshore and offshore analysis, including field sampling, wellsite analysis and/or PVT laboratory analysis.Be fully conversant with Group's goals, objectives, strategy and business environment, Personnel and Equipment SchedulingAttend internal and external training where requiredPreparation and QC of reports for both field versions and final job reportsMaintain a quality and safety awareness cultureAdhere to SGS Code of Integrity policy and client confidentiality agreementAdherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by uphold a good safety behavior and exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities at all times to ensure compliance to the HSE requirements.Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior ManagementQualificationsDiploma in chemistry, engineering or related field from recognized institution.At least 1 to 2 years' working experience in similar capacity.
