Finance Analyst (1 Year Contract)

Manages and maintains financial records, reconciles accounts, and ensures accuracy in financial reporting.
Client DetailsA globally known shared service centre.
DescriptionBusiness EngagementCollaborate with the Operations Manager, Global Process Manager, and Performance Improvement Team for regular end-to-end process reviews, identifying opportunities for process changes and improvements to enhance performance and efficiency.
Report to and partner with the Team Lead and other key internal stakeholders, including the Global Headquarters, Local Management, and Lines of Business.
OperationsPrepare journals, reconciliation reports, and accounting analysis reports to ensure completeness and accuracy of transactions, in compliance with the requirements outlined in the process handbook, DTP, and Closing Cockpit (including timelines, quality checklists, etc.).
Ensure timely and efficient execution of closing activities, adhering to the established closing schedule. Any deviations from standard procedures must be well-documented, with proper approval obtained if necessary due to business requirements.
Maintain compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company procedures to uphold the integrity of financial information.
Participate in issue management, including cross-process and process-specific challenges, and conduct root cause analysis.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the RTR (Record-to-Report) process, enhancing productivity, strengthening controls, and supporting process standardization and improvements.
Team DevelopmentContinuously enhance business and process knowledge and provide recommendations to drive ongoing process improvements.
ProfileAt least 1 year of cumulative experience in accounting and finance.
Familiarity with Technology: Proficiency in MS Office, familiarity with SAP considered advantageous.
Effective communication abilities.
Demonstrating accountability for assigned tasks, including independent study or research as necessary.
Proactive and innovative approach towards enhancing work methodologies.
Collaboration-oriented mindset, adept at working within a team.
