Job Description The Finance Analyst / Senior Finance Analyst will work together with the ASEAN Finance Team and Asia Shared Service Centre (SSC) to support the business by managing the day-to-day finance operations, delivering insightful timely analysis and other financial planning needs.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for submission of timely, accurate and commercially focused Budget, Forecast and 3 Year Planning, in line with agreed templates and timetables.
Identify and timely report risks and opportunities for the business.
Update commentary highlights concisely, anticipating potential questions and address them in advance with supporting analysis as appropriate.
Provide Business Partner support to event team.
Monthly P&L actual review and working with SSC for month end.
This will include: Ensure revenue and costs are recorded correctly, and intercompany billings are performed.
Compliance in accordance with Group guidelines and timely release of accruals, if any.
Build necessary financial / management reports from appropriate systems for review and analysis purpose.
Intercompany review incl.
agreements, invoicing, resolving mismatches and cash settlements.
Review balance sheet and work with SSC to ensure balances are substantiated and preparation of cashflow.
Handle local statutory compliance matters such as corporate secretarial, audit, and taxation.
Ad hoc queries / requests from various stakeholders. Qualifications A relevant accounting or finance degree is a prerequisite.
Prior FP&A / business partnering experience in an MNC environment preferred with at least 5 years of experience.
Well versed in systems.
