About the role
As a Finance Assistant at GMWB group (F&B Chain), you will play a crucial role in supporting the accounting and financial management functions of our organisation. This full-time position is based in Inanam, Sabah, and offers the opportunity to work for a dynamic company committed to excellence.
What you'll be doing Accounts Receivable Responsibilities include:-
1. Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
2. Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data (cash collection, credit card collection, online bank-in transaction, e-wallet transaction).
3. Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits.
4. Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
5. Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients' billing issues.
6. Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
What we're looking for Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role
preferable in F&B chain/professional firm/retails FMCGStrong proficiency in accounting software, such as Autocount & Professional in MsExcelExcellent numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with accounting principles and financial reporting standardsRelevant qualifications, such as a diploma or degree in Accounting or FinanceWhat we offer
