Finance Assistant

You will be required to do accounting for our group of companies, including but not limited to bookkeeping, reporting, updating financial records in SQL, reconciling bank statements and processing business transactions (e.g. AP and AR, disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts etc.).! 
On top of this you will need to ensure the company's daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively. Basic...but FUN
•  General accounts receivable functions  
Preparing and submitting customer invoices; coordinating deposit activities; performing all necessary accounts, bank and other reconciliations.
•  General accounts payable functions  
Checking, verifying and processing invoices; preparing payments for signatures; analyzing discrepancies and unpaid invoices; and processing time sheets.
•   General support functions 
Handling entries for AP, AR, and GL; preparing bank reconciliation reports; assisting in month-end reporting procedures; utilizing accounting data to resolve accounting problems and discrepancies; tracking and auditing petty cash; assisting with employee expense reports; filing and general administrative tasks; and liaising with other teams /customers / vendors.
