This is a role where a career is made, if you are up to the challenge, and keen to work with world-class teams.**About theAsianparent**theAsianparent is a reproductive health-tech company that reaches out to 30 million mothers every month through our parenting website and app. Our vision is to improve the overall health of pregnant women and families in South East Asia by helping them navigate their most important moments with data-driven solutions in the form of content, community and physical products.**About the role**This role will be based in our Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur Office and report to the General Manager.**Finance**- Take full ownership of all areas of finance, accounting, FP&A, compliances for the Malaysia business and Malaysia legal entity- Conduct regular reviews along with the country leadership team to assess the health of business to identify opportunities to increase revenue, optimise costs, enhance profitability- Identify areas of improvement in the finance function of Malaysia business- Process and prepare financial and business forms for the purpose of checking account balances, facilitating purchases, etc.- Perform routine calculations to produce analysis and reports as requested by the finance director.- Create, send and follow up on invoices- Review and adhere to department budgets- Review and audit financial statements and reports, ensure all calculations and data entries are correct- Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with employees a/or clients- Report any troubling discoveries or suspicion of wrongdoing to the proper authorities- Adhere to the company's or organization's financial policies and procedures- Attend finance department and company-wide meetings, sometimes assisting with financial reporting to managers and senior executives.**What are we looking for**- At least 2 years experience in the related field- Bachelors Degree in a Finance related field- Strategic thinker- Effective team player- Willingness to learn- Able to work independently and efficiently- Strong experience with the Microsoft office suite- Meticulous, organized and good attention to details- Good interpersonal skills- Good communication skills as this role will require you to work closely with cross functional teams and business leaders- Analytical and project management ability- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment**What can you expect**A fast paced environment to learn and grow in your career with a market leader with ambitious growth plans.
