We are seeking a Commercial - Senior Executive to oversee various financial and accounting tasks critical to our operations. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, organized, and possess strong analytical skills to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves in crucial support to daily financial operations and offer valuable insights to the Finance Team. Your day-to-day with us: Closing of Accounts Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.Ensuring all financial transactions for the month are accurately recorded and meticulously reviewed in the accounting system.Checking and verifying the accuracy of financial events such as revenue recognition, cost, expenses, provisions and accruals. Financial Reporting and Analysis Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.Compile and analyze gross sales data, providing insights into revenue trends, analysis of profitability by business segment, product line, or customer. Budgeting and Forecasting Preparing and managing the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.Working with department HODs to gather budget inputs and insights. Ensure they are aligned with overall company goals and financial guidelines.Regularly reviewing and updating forecasts based on actual performance and changes in the business environment to ensure accuracy and relevance. Accounting Policy To validate on monthly Gross Margin and monitoring on COGS.To regularly review on Customer Policy & Contract, support for business development if needed.Works closely with Sales team on GTO simulation review and ensure the monthly accrue calculation are aligned with trading term signed.To validate PO before order is placed. Variance Analysis: Provide detailed explanations and recommendations for any discrepancies identified. Work closely with other functional departmental to understand the causes of variances and assist in developing action plans. Other related duties as assigned Support other function in within the teamSupport and undertake ad hoc tasks or assignments as required from time to time.Handle accounting and/or financing related matters including financial planning and projection or forecast to support management decisionTo ensure all financial and accounting transactions in accordance with company policiesAssist in company E-Invoicing process and implementation.Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and performance.
