We are scaling our silicon-anode, lithium-ion battery manufacturing capabilities to meet customer demand.  Responsibilities: Partner with Malaysia's leadership team to formulate strategies towards the company's long term financial health and expense optimization and to drive results Oversee Malaysia finance team in all areas such as financial statement preparation, general ledger, cost accounting, fixed assets, accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting as well as tax compliance such as VAT, income tax, local tax filings Provide leadership, direction, training and support to ensure procedures, accounting systems and controls are in alignment with local reporting requirements and corporate policies Coordinate the execution of all monthly and quarterly financial statement close processes in accordance with US GAAP as well as local GAAP Collaborate with the company's external auditors to manage the quarterly review and audit process and ensure timely completion Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls to ensure compliance with US GAAP Set up Shared Service Team and ensure smooth delivery of Financial Accounting Services (GL, AP, FA etc) to support Malaysia, US, India and other nations, as required Play a leading role in enhancing enterprise resource planning system implementation and other strategic initiatives Support the implementation of and ensure key internal controls over financial reporting are designed and operating in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley rules and regulations Monitor and analyze department to continuously develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining effectiveness of controls Other duties as assigned Requirements 15+ years in related experience with US CPA or Malaysia CPA as a plus Technology industry and U.S. publicly traded companies experience preferred Demonstrated knowledge and skills in US GAAP and Malaysia-GAAP Experience with ERP systems and system implementation Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills Impeccable analytical and organizational skills Ability to work with cross-functional teams Ability to multitask, work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy Team builder, and good written and verbal communication skills Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
