This manufacturing company is renowned in the market for its exceptional product. They have a global presence and are currently expanding. They are looking to set up their new plant in Johor.
Description
You will be in charge of:
Financial Leadership & Team Management:Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing coaching, development opportunities, and ensuring adherence to internal controls and accounting practices. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance department, ensuring efficient and effective financial processes.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:Ensure timely and accurate completion of all financial reporting activities, including monthly closes, budgets, forecasts, and financial statements. Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard financial data and assets. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
Financial Analysis & Planning:Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement. Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support budgeting and strategic planning processes. Participate in the budgeting process, collaborating with different departments to create realistic and achievable financial plans. Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Cost Management & Control:Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to improve profitability. Monitor and control manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead. Conduct cost-benefit analysis for new projects and initiatives.
Treasury Management:Oversee cash flow management, ensuring adequate liquidity to meet operational needs. Manage foreign exchange risk and hedging strategies. Establish and maintain banking relationships.
Risk Management & Communication:Identify and assess potential financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate them. Communicate effectively with all levels of management regarding financial performance, risks, and opportunities. Prepare clear and concise financial reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
Profile
You will be suitable for this role if you:
Have at least a bachelor's degree.
Have experience in the manufacturing sector.
Have experience in costing and financial planning & analysis.
Have experience in managing a team.
Job Offer
You will be rewarded with an attractive salary of RM 25,000 - RM 35,000 monthly.
