Job DescriptionJob Purpose:
Primary role is to perform work activities related to accounts receivable and collection.
Responsibilities:
Monitor of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts
Update system for payment received
Find and contact clients (via call & email) to follow up on overdue payments
Identify and drive initiatives to reduce delinquency in trade receivable
Effectively follow-up "promise to pay" clients
Forecast collections and bad-debts
Prepare monthly reports on collections
Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is made on timely manner;
Handle vendors' enquiry on payment matters;
Prepare account analysis and generate monthly reports;
Liaise with other department on any further action required
Plan a course of action to recover outstanding payments
Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments or accounts
Perform other ad-hoc task as assigned by Head of Department or Managing Director

Qualification Requirement:
Minimum Diploma in Accounting / Finance / Business / Marketing or relevant qualification
Preferably 1 to 2 years relevant working experience
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Able to converse Mandarin will be added advantage.
