Job Responsibilities:Responsible for daily finance operations/accounting functions.
Preparation of monthly full set of accounts, financial and management reports (Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, etc.) to specific deadlines.
Ensure accuracy of the trial balance and general ledger, including keeping accurate records and listings of fixed assets, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and bank accounts.
Ensure timely billings, collections, recordings, and payments.
Ensure the smooth and efficient running of accounting procedures and systems.
Monitor all matters in relation to intercompany transactions.
Handle tax matters including SST implementation and submission.
Liaise with the external auditor, company secretary, tax agent, bankers, and other statutory bodies.
Other ad-hoc assignments will be assigned to you from time to time.
Job Requirements:Candidates MUST possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or Professional Qualification (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICPA) with at least 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
Good interpersonal skills.
Achievement-oriented, self-starter, independent, and possess a high degree of self-motivation and able to work under pressure.
Proficiency in Accounting software and Microsoft Office.
Able to commit to the full contract duration of 6 months (Nov/Dec 2024 - April/May 2025).
