Manage day to day accounting operations, i.e.
ensure accurate and timely sales collection.
Responsible for preparing journal entries and reconciliations to support month-end and year-end closing.
Responsible for Fixed Asset and MFRS16 Leases accounting, reporting and control.
Responsible for preparing monthly account schedules / Balance Sheet Reconciliations including bank reconciliation, analyse and correcting discrepancies.
Assist Treasury related tasks, i.e.
journal posting for fund transfer/fund placement and compile info for loan drawdown.
Prepare and manage new store opening checklist.
Assist month-end financial statements analysis and report on variances.
Assist year-end audit and tax queries.
Perform all other duties/projects assigned as required.
General
To adhere and enforce all Company's policies and procedures.
Undertake/participate in any ad hoc projects or other relevant duties as assigned from time to time.
Knowledge and Experience
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, in finance and accounting field.
At least 2 years working experience in Accounting.
Experience in General Ledger, fixed asset and leases is an added advantage.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
Candidate must possess own transport with valid driving license.
