Accounting & Finance: Responsible for managing all accounting and finance-related duties of the organization (Financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis).To liaise with external auditors, bankers, company secretary, taxation, suppliers, etc.To upgrade the existing reporting system for better internal control.Oversees the daily accounting activities and supervising the accounting staffs on various issues encounter during the daily work.Applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.Resolves complex accounting issues or assists other personnel in resolving financial issues.Supervise controls for accounting procedures and systems. Make and implement recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures.Maintains organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions and ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures and prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.Manage tax returns, financial statements and period closings.Budget for major expenses.Cash flow management.Produce financial reports and other related ad-hoc reports for management.Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process.Prepare yearly budget/forecast, cash flow and business plan.Ensure compliance with statutory requirement including audit, taxation and internal control.Prepare and implement tax planning and liaise with auditors and tax agent.Liaising with other external parties such as company secretary, bankers, lawyers and government authorities on related job matters. Human Resource: Responsible for recruiting, training and team management for accounting staff.Provide general clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Division; compose and type letters, memoranda, and other correspondence related to assigned human resources programs and activities; prepare a variety of reports including technical reports and status reports pertaining to human resource management programs and activities.Prepare workers' compensation reports; Assist workers' compensation adjuster as needed on employee claims.Prepare for monthly salary via HR applications. General Administration: Perform a wide variety of responsible clerical, technical, administrative, and office support duties.Perform a variety of general office support duties; Make copies; Maintain calendar of activities, meetings, and various events for assigned staff; process mail including receiving, sorting, time stamping, logging, and distributing incoming and outgoing correspondence and packages; Order office supplies, etc.Undertake any assignment, ad-hoc function and related duties as and when necessary. Requirements: Bachelor Degree from accredited university with major in Accounting & Finance or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy Management, ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years (Accounting Manager) and 6 years (Senior Accounting Manager) relevant working experience and exposure for medium size or large company.Some working experience in handling audit and tax matters from an established public accounting firm.High moral value and self-disciplined.Experienced in leading, motivating and supporting an accounting team.Strong analytical & leadership skills and able to work under pressure.Able to multi-task, pro-active, result orientated and able to interact with people at all levels.Meticulous, good with numbers.Team player and performance-orientated.Strong analytical and execution abilities.Independent in handling tasks assigned.5 1/2-day week.
