Job Overview
We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our finance team. The Finance Executive will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely accounting processes, overseeing overseas financial operations, and maintaining compliance with statutory reporting requirements. The successful candidate will also play a vital role in supporting the Finance Manager with payment-related tasks and performing various administrative responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Manage invoicing, processing payments, and monitoring collections to ensure accuracy.
Oversee overseas financial operations and maintain effective general cash management.
Complete a comprehensive and accurate monthly set of accounts, including timely cash projections.
Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements related to accounting and taxation, including SST (Sales and Services Tax).
Assist the Finance Manager in coordinating payment-related tasks, ensuring adherence to financial policies.
Perform administrative tasks, including arranging document signings, checking payments, and handling ad-hoc financial responsibilities.
Actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement in knowledge and skills related to finance and accounting.
Demonstrate adaptability and excellence in carrying out any other duties assigned by the Finance Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
2 - 3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles.
Strong understanding of statutory reporting requirements and taxation, including SST.
