Job Responsibilities
Assist in closing monthly management accounts.
Primarily handle Account Receivable and assist with Account Payable (when required).
Ensure timely issuance of invoices to Account Receivable for various digital platforms.
Ensure receipts from debtors are matched to invoices in a timely manner.
Assist in resolving invoice issuance and receipt issues with various debtors.
Issue monthly statements to debtors clearly outlining the amount due and payment terms.
Follow up with debtors on payment collection.
Reconcile bank statements to ensure all debtor payments are recorded correctly.
Prepare monthly journals.
Conduct monthly reconciliation on AR aging against GL.
Assist in month-end closing activities.
Perform other ad hoc assignments and tasks as requested by superior.
Monthly GL posting for APPV, non-APPV, journal voucher and TR; print out all voucher transactions and chop numbers for GL posting for the current month.
Maintain and upkeep proper filing and documentation for payment vouchers & reports for year-end audit use.
Administer, coordinate, and liaise with various parties for necessary actions regarding the various reporting needs of the company.
Act on any relevant ad-hoc duties as required by management.
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in a related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Training will be provided.
At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required skills: Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint & experience with any Accounting software.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is a must.
Added advantage for those fluent in Mandarin or any other language(s).
