Job DescriptionManagement of the overall administrative service costs including software costs & service providers costs.
Entering trade providers invoice data into the organisation's accounting system and ensuring that payments are processed in a timely manner.
Resolving invoice discrepancies and responding to provider inquiries related to payments.
Maintaining providers records, including contact information, payment terms & reconciliation of provider statements.
Conducting cost variance analysis on variable costs throughout all services providers, and providing recommendations on cost optimization opportunities.
Producing timely and accurate cost analysis reports on monthly operating results, comparing factors affecting contribution margin, and other cost information to the manager.
Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve the accounts payable processes and procedures.
Driving the implementation of internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to increase networks and allow for the exchange of information.
Assisting in other ad hoc finance & accounting related duties as assigned by the manager.
Job RequirementsAt least 3 years working experience in a related field.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business or Commerce with a major or sub-major in Accounting and/or Finance.
Candidates with professional qualifications such as ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MIA will be at an added advantage.
Experience and/or fundamental knowledge of general accounting and/or financial reporting and applicable legislation.
Problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work through issues with moderate complexity and guide others in the resolution of problems.
Positive attitude, team player, passionate at work, willingness to learn, and strong determination to succeed.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel/PowerPoint) or related software.
Willingness to travel between Penang and KL.
