DescriptionTheFinance Leadrole involves supporting the Finance team in daily operations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with statutory and group requirements. Key responsibilities include:
Core Accounting Functions : Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and assist in day-to-day accounting tasks, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
Financial Reporting : Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of management accounts, statutory reports, cash flow projections, tax submissions, and notes to accounts.
Cost Monitoring and Analysis : Support cost control efforts by analyzing actual expenses and budget variances, providing actionable insights.
Planning and Budgeting : Assist with budgeting processes and financial planning.
System and Process Improvement : Contribute to system enhancements and process improvements.
Stakeholder Management : Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, regulatory authorities, and other relevant parties to ensure compliance with statutory and group requirements.
Ad-Hoc Tasks : Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by superiors as needed.
ProfileMinimum 4years of experiencein finance, accounting, orBIG 4audit with the added advantage ofShared Servicesexposure.
Bachelor's degree inAccounting/Financeor a professional qualification (e.g.,ACCA, CPA, CIMA ).
Preferably familiar withSAP systems .
The role requires a blend of technical accounting expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to manage compliance and stakeholder relationships effectively.
