We are looking to hire a Finance Manager / Accountant that will be responsible for handling daily accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring reporting, effective budgeting, and regulatory compliance are accurate. This position supports strategic decision-making by delivering actionable financial insights and maintaining the company's financial health. As an accountant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's financial records, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements, and supporting financial reporting processes.Key Responsibilities
Finance Manager
Develop and manage the annual budget, forecast financials, and conduct variance analysis for actionable insights.
Oversee financial operations (accounts payable/receivable, payroll, cash flow) and implement financial controls.
Provide financial analysis on pricing, cost control, and profitability, collaborating with teams to optimize performance and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, liaise with auditors and consultants, and stay updated on regulatory changes.
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration.
Accountant
Oversee the entire accounting process, including managing accounts payable, receivable, the general ledger, month-end closings, financial statements, management reports, and statutory filings.
Conduct financial analysis to spot trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and inventory records.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and managing cash flow.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GST/VAT and tax filings, and support audits with accurate documentation.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Strong accounting experience, ideally in the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
Proficiency with accounting software.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good understanding of statutory regulations and tax compliance.
Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
