FINANCE MANAGER - CONVENTIONAL, MARINE AND RENTALJOB SUMMARY :
We are looking for a Finance Manager who will direct and manage multiple operations related to Conventional, Marine And Rental services.
As the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing the financial operations within these specialized sectors.
Your primary responsibilities include financial planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Financial OperationCo-ordinate, consolidate, review, finalize, and approve Westports' Conventional section's financial performance and position for adoption on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Direct, develop, and maintain financial reporting systems, policies, processes, and procedures to ensure timely, reliable, and accurate reporting of financial numbers.
Responsible for vendors' invoicing and arranging for payment processing.
Drive digitalization to achieve touch-less financial close.
Lead and set annual division goals and objectives for the team.
Perform financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and management tasks.
Comply with LPK by-law, regulatory requirements.
Create and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers.Contract ManagementMonitor and manage contract terms, pricing, and market comparison.
Manage and analyze contracts to ensure favorable finance terms.
Ensure reputable vendors are registered to support conventional operations.
Monitor subtenant compliance with contracts for landed clients.Cost ManagementEnsure expenses are 10% below the budgeted amount.
Manage monthly reports on current spending.
Control and monitor all OPEX and conventional finance procurement activities.BillingIdentify tax incentives and programs to reduce overall costs.
Develop an action plan to maximize tax returns.
Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments.Financial ReportingControl and evaluate budget usage.
Advise operations and management of prospective cost increases and revenue declines.
Establish the upcoming year's budget.
Conduct studies on finance disruptions due to market conditions.SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS :
Degree in Finance or related studies.
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a similar capacity.
MIA membership/ Chartered Accountants or equivalent qualifications.
3 years of Audit Experience, Big 4 experience is an added advantage.
Able to work independently.
Experienced in finance automation.
Good business acumen.
Comfortable in a leadership role.
