Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a Finance Manager in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, managing budgets, conducting financial analysis, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations. They will also collaborate with other departments to optimize financial performance and provide strategic recommendations.
Preferred background Accounting qualification (Diploma/Bachelor's/Masters etc.)5-8 years of experience in hospitality, better have 2 resorts experience or at least with reputable hotel / resort>3 years of experience in a leadership role – where he/she is required to lead a team of more than 3, acting as a bridge between middle and upper management>2 years of experience with P&L forecasting/budgeting and variance analysis using Excel and/or other management reporting toolsOracle/Nafi experience is not a must, but better to have good knowledge in accounting system, and know basic function for other systems such as Booking/Purchase systemsMust know how to perform accounting / bookkeeping in terms of P&L and Balance Sheet (i.e. transaction recording in finance systems, bank reconciliation, AP/AR monitoring), and if the Candidate is currently with high level position such as SM/AD level, is willing to do hands on bookkeeping tasksMust know how to perform cash and physical inventory managementBenefits Accommodation is providedMealsSport facilitiesReturn flight ticket (after 1 year service)Salary range – RM8,000 – RM12,000.Take the next step in your career with us and be part of a rapidly evolving industry.
