Finance Manager

Full time
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and management of the company's business units. This includes managing budgets, financial planning, reporting, forecasting, cost control, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role will act as a critical liaison between the operations and finance teams to drive efficiency, profitability, and sound financial decision-making across all outlets and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations Management:Monitor day-to-day financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Manage and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow processes.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
Implement and maintain financial controls and systems to safeguard company assets.
Budgeting and Forecasting:Develop and manage annual budgets for all outlets and projects in collaboration with the operations team.
Prepare detailed forecasts and financial models to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Track performance against budgets and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
Prepare and present periodic financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for senior management and stakeholders.
Provide operational teams with financial performance metrics and KPIs to drive business decisions.
Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and internal policies.
Cost Control and Profitability:Conduct cost analysis to identify inefficiencies and recommend cost-saving measures.
Monitor inventory levels and procurement processes to minimize wastage and optimize purchasing.
Partner with operations to implement strategies to increase profitability and control costs.
Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and tax requirements.
Oversee internal and external audits and ensure findings are resolved promptly.
Develop and enforce risk management policies and procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENT
University graduate major in Accounting. Experience in hospitality, F&B and theme park is an added advantage.
Minimum 4 years of working experience
Independent and good problem solver
Full set of accounts, general ledger and AP/AR experienced required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
