Finance Manager

Job Description: Oversee the financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Track project costs, manage change orders, and ensure financial alignment with project milestones.
Prepare and present detailed financial reports on project performance, including cost analysis, profitability, and cash flow.
Provide insights into financial variances and recommend corrective actions.
Develop and manage project budgets and forecasts.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial planning and resource allocation.
Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budget.
Implement cost control measures and conduct regular financial reviews to identify and address cost overruns.
Manage cash flow for construction projects, including invoicing, collections, and payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure timely cash flow to support project operations and maintain financial stability.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, industry standards, and contractual obligations.
Prepare financial documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and reporting accuracy.
Streamline financial workflows to support project efficiency and profitability.
Supervise and mentor finance team members, including junior accountants and financial analysts.
Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and external auditors.
Provide financial insights and support to senior management and project teams.
Job Requirements: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Assistant Finance Manager, or similar role in the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction accounting principles, project cost management, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with project teams and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage financial data and provide actionable insights for project and business decisions.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malayu.
