Our team in Shah Alam currently has an opening for a Finance Manager YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the closing of the monthly management accounts for the timely preparation of Group management accounts and quarterly reporting.Ensure the accounts are in compliance with statutory requirements, approved accounting standards, relevant acts, and regulations.Review and supervise the daily finance operation and process/policies.Prepare budget and cash flow projection, including all treasury matters.Responsible for the statutory audit, statutory accounts, corporate income tax computation, and the submission of the corporate income tax return.Liaise with auditors, company secretary, and other relevant bodies, when required.Key contact point for Share Services Center including partnering to drive greater process efficiency.Be a subject matter expert in Malaysian tax with support from tax agent and regional tax as well as be a key contact point with local tax agentPrepare quarterly and year-end tax provisioning workings.Responsible for local tax compliance by ensuring tax returns and transfer pricing documentation are prepared on time.Support Regional Tax Department in group tax optimisation projects and other Corporate tax initiatives.Keep abreast of all Malaysian tax legislation update and work with Regional Tax to assess the tax exposure in Malaysia.Manage local tax audits with tax agent and update Regional tax on tax exposure arising thereof. YOUR PROFILE Preferably Degree in Accountancy / Professional Accounting Qualification or equivalent with relevant working experience.Minimum 7-8 years working experience with at least 3 years' experience in tax. Strong technical knowledge in understanding and interpreting financial reporting standards.Excellent interpersonal and workplace communication skillsRequired language(s): English, Bahasa MelayuExtensive experience in utilising computerised accounting, SAP systems and Microsoft Excel.Able to deliver accurate and high-quality work. Meticulous and deadline conscious.
