MAIN JOB FUNCTION
• Responsible for advising and lead an organization on how to increase profit through prudent financial practices and monitoring and enforcing compliances with finance-related laws, procedures and regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Monitor and chase closely source of income (work together with Tender and Operation department to expedite claim).
• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management from monthly and yearly. Oversee the capital structure of the company and assessing the financial health of the company
• Develop and review strategies for cost management, cost control and profit maximization by strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change and identify financial risks.
• Preparing and monitor an annual budget and review budget from other department, scheduling expenditures, Accounts closing, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions on timely manner.
• Oversee and execute precise day-to-day accounting functions including invoicing, payment processing, and cash management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead the monthly and yearly closing process, ensuring management, audit, statutory reports are completed to the highest standards.
• Conduct weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and manage cash flow to optimize financial health.
• Lead the preparation and presentation of insightful monthly management reports, including variance analysis, budget vs actuals, and cash flow forecasts, to inform strategic decisions.
• Coordinate annual audits and proactively address accounting and control issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, including tax filings, other financial obligations and company secretarial matters.
• Act as a trusted financial advisor to management, contributing to high-level strategic initiatives and long-term business planning.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Deal and identify any facilities (bank or government) that can support and suit our company need in short term and long term.
• Lead overall finance department, independent, proactive, problem solving. Prepare a key performance index (KPI) for own and finance department staff.
• To undertake other ad-hoc assignments as may be required from time to time by the management.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Complete a bachelor degree in finance, accounting, economics or business administration.
• At least 5 to 8 years work experience related to business or finance.
